Hello, curious one

Ehtesham Nasim

Software Architect · Full-Stack & AI Systems

"I build systems that scale and think."

I sit at the crossroads of systems engineering and artificial intelligence — not just connecting models to apps, but building the infrastructure that makes them reliable, fast, and real in production. Scalable APIs. LLM agents with memory. Developer tools that actually save time.

Currently in Bengaluru, roots in Delhi

Background

I'm a Software Architect who loves building things that actually last.

Over the years, I've worked across EdTech, SaaS, and AI-driven products, helping turn messy, complex ideas into clean, scalable systems. I focus on building strong foundations — thoughtful frontend experiences, reliable backends, and AI features that solve real problems instead of just sounding impressive.

I care deeply about structure, security, and simplicity. Good architecture, to me, means the system still makes sense a year later — and the team enjoys working on it. I've helped modernize old systems, guided teams through change, and built platforms that grow without breaking.

I'm not some mythical tech genius. I'm just someone who understands how things fit together — and once I see the vision, I can build almost anything around it.

Senior Software Architect

About Me

I build software that scales. Over the past decade, I've gone from writing my first API to architecting systems that serve millions of requests daily. Based in Bengaluru, I work across the full stack: Node.js, React, cloud infrastructure. But what I really do is turn messy business problems into clean, maintainable code.

Currently at Kyndryl as a Senior Architect, I lead the design and development of enterprise-scale backend and AI-driven systems. I work on real-time, intelligent platforms with a strong focus on performance, reliability, and clean architecture. Hands-on by nature, I contribute across system design and backend engineering, building systems that developers actually enjoy working with.

What I Bring to the Table
End-to-End Ownership: From architecture design to production deployment — I own the full lifecycle, not just code.
Scalability Mindset: Built systems handling 100K+ daily requests. I think in load balancers, caches, and queues.
Startup Speed + Enterprise Quality: Move fast without breaking things. Clean code, proper tests, and documentation.
Cross-Functional Communication: Translate between business goals and technical solutions. Effective with PMs, designers, and leadership.

The Story So Far

A decade of building, learning, and growing

Night Coder Best commits after midnight

A decade of turning "that's impossible" into "it's already live."

I'm Ehtesham — a software architect who builds things that actually work. Started coding as a curious teenager, fell in love with the craft, and never looked back. From scrappy startups to enterprise platforms, I've shipped products across EdTech, SaaS, FinTech, and AI. My code has processed millions of requests, my systems have scaled to thousands of users, and somewhere along the way, I learned that the best architecture is the one you don't have to think about.

Builder at heart — Full-stack architect obsessed with details. Pixel-perfect UIs, bulletproof backends, elegant APIs. I don't just write code — I craft systems that developers love to maintain and users never notice (because they just work).
AI pragmatist — Not just playing with toys. RAG pipelines, local LLMs, production agents that actually ship. While others debate frameworks, I'm deploying inference endpoints and watching real users interact with AI features I built.
Chaos tamer — Give me a complex problem and a deadline. I thrive where others get stuck. Legacy migrations, impossible integrations, "nobody knows how this works" systems — that's where I do my best work.
Relentless learner — The tech landscape shifts constantly, and I shift with it. From jQuery days to modern React, from monoliths to microservices, from REST to GraphQL — I've evolved through every paradigm shift.

Beyond the Code

When I'm Not Building Software

When the terminal closes, the stories begin.

A 90s kid at heart. Grew up with dial-up internet, Saturday morning cartoons, and the golden age of anime. Remember waiting 10 minutes for a single image to load? That patience built character — and probably explains why I don't mind debugging for hours.

That katana floating on the left? That's my watchlist. From the raw emotion of One Piece to Samurai Jack's visual poetry, from the intensity of Attack on Titan to the brilliance of The Dark Knight — these stories shaped how I think about craft, persistence, and building something meaningful.

Most productive after midnight. There's something about the silence of 2 AM, when the world sleeps and the only sounds are keyboard clicks and lo-fi beats, that makes the code flow better. The night is when ideas become reality.

Present

Architecting at the intersection of AI and enterprise systems.

My Principles

Thinking from first principles

01
Build for Scale

Design systems that can handle 10x growth without rewriting. The best architecture is invisible — it just works.

02
Simplicity Wins

If it needs a diagram to explain, it's too complex. Optimize for readability and maintainability over cleverness.

03
Ship, Learn, Iterate

A working prototype beats a perfect spec. Get it in front of users fast, gather feedback, improve continuously.

04
Own the Outcome

Not just the code — the entire result. If it fails, it's on me. Accountability drives quality and builds trust.

05
Stay Curious

The moment you think you know everything is the moment you stop growing. Every project teaches something new.
